Privacy Policy
This policy explains what ReadySetWear collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect what the app needs to work and nothing we do not use.
1. What we collect
Account information — your email address, display name, and the account identifier your sign-in provider gives us when you use Google or Apple sign-in.
Waitlist information — the email address or phone number you submit before launch, plus the source and time of the submission.
Wardrobe content — clothing and daily outfit photos, detected image regions, item details, saved outfits, collages, feedback, ratings, and outfit-calendar entries.
Style preferences — the answers you give in onboarding and in style preferences, such as aesthetics, fits, colors, and occasions.
Connected-calendar information — connection identifiers, sync status, the calendar or Notion data source you select, and imported event dates, times, locations, titles when you allow them, and inferred occasion types.
Purchase information — entitlement status, product identifier, marketplace, purchase and expiration dates, and transaction references supplied by RevenueCat or the app marketplace. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
Location — only if you grant permission, your approximate coordinates, used at the moment of the request to fetch local weather. We do not keep a history of where you have been.
Technical data — basic request and error logs generated by our hosting providers, such as IP address, device type, and timestamps, used to keep the Service running and secure.
Social activity — friend requests, shared outfits, reactions, comments, blocks, and reports when you use the friends features.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not buy or sell personal information.
2. How we use it
To operate your closet: storing your photos and item details so they appear on your devices.
To process clothing images — removing backgrounds and detecting an item's category and color so cataloging is not manual.
To generate outfit ideas and product matches based on your closet and stated preferences.
To build Dress My Day suggestions from supported calendar events you choose to connect.
To show local weather next to your daily suggestions when you allow location access.
To provide Premium access, restore purchases, and maintain subscription status.
To contact waitlist members about launch availability and administer opt-out or deletion requests.
To secure accounts, prevent abuse, debug failures, and improve the Service.
3. Who processes data for us
We use a small set of providers to run the Service. They act on our instructions and only receive what the specific feature requires:
Supabase — account authentication, database, file storage for your closet images, and the server functions the app calls.
Apple and Google — account authentication when you choose one of those sign-in methods.
Google — Gemini models for analyzing clothing photos and generating outfit and shopping suggestions.
Google Calendar and Notion — calendar authorization and event synchronization when you choose to connect them.
PhotoRoom — background removal on clothing photos you choose to add to your closet.
Apple Weather — current conditions and forecasts for the coordinates you allow us to send, when you use the weather feature.
RapidAPI (real-time Amazon product data) — retail product listings shown in Shop. Your closet photos are not sent; only a generated search query derived from your preferences is.
Netlify — hosting and delivery of the web app.
RevenueCat and Apple or the applicable app marketplace — purchase processing, entitlement status, restoration, and subscription management.
We also disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
4. Where your data is kept
Your account, wardrobe content, and images are stored with Supabase and protected by row-level security. Your wardrobe is readable only by your account unless you deliberately share an outfit with accepted friends. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries; where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account content while your account is open. Deleted items are removed from your account, subject to backups and records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, or transaction purposes. Waitlist contact information is kept until launch communications are complete or you ask us to remove it. Connected-calendar tokens and imported events are deleted or disconnected through the controls described in the app. Account-deletion requests are completed within 30 days unless law requires longer retention.
6. Your choices and rights
Location is optional. You can deny or revoke it in your device or browser settings; only local weather stops working.
Camera and photo access is optional and used only when you add an item.
You can edit or delete your closet items, outfits, calendar entries, preferences, and shared posts in the app.
You can disconnect Google Calendar or Notion Calendar and control whether imported event titles are shown.
You can manage or cancel recurring Premium billing through your app-marketplace subscription settings.
You can ask us to remove your waitlist email address or phone number.
You can delete your account and its associated wardrobe data from Settings in the app.
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of it, or deletion of your account by writing to privacy@readysetwear.app.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example under the GDPR or the CCPA — including the right to object to processing or to complain to your local data protection authority. We honor those requests regardless of where you are.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, write to privacy@readysetwear.app and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use encrypted transport, scoped access rules, and provider-managed encryption at rest. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us if something looks wrong with your account.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and its effective date, and give notice in the app for material changes.
